Bible Reading Plan: The Book of Revelation
As we continue reading through the New Testament, our next book is Revelation—a prophetic and hope-filled vision given to the apostle John while he was exiled on the island of Patmos.
Written to seven churches facing pressure, persecution, and compromise, Revelation opens with letters of encouragement and correction. From there, the book unfolds with vivid visions and powerful imagery that point to Jesus’ ultimate victory over evil and the fulfillment of God’s kingdom.
Though often misunderstood or intimidating, Revelation is a book of worship, endurance, and unwavering hope. It reminds us that Jesus is present with His Church, that evil has an expiration date, and that a New Heaven and New Earth are coming—where God will dwell with His people forever.
