Day 10 - February 16th 2022

READ Ephesians 2: 4-5

4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Have you ever felt like you’ve done something unforgivable? Or maybe someone else has done something unforgiveable to you? Because we’re human, we react with shame, embarrassment, resentment, and anger. You usually expect something from the other person if they wronged you. Or if you wronged them, you may feel like there is nothing you can do to regain their trust or love. This is not the case with God. The Bible tells us that God is rich in mercy. When you spend time with Him, you will begin to understand and believe that there is nothing you can do to be saved. It is by His grace and love that you are saved. All you have to do is receive it. God does not take on our human nature and ask for something in return. He is not interested in making us just good. He desires to make us holy and alive through Jesus.

Jesus, thank you for washing me in oceans of grace and mercy even when I don’t deserve it. Remind me of this as I walk through today.
