Meet and Greet with John Hayes
We’ve hired John Hayes as our new Student Director! John is originally from Kentucky like me, but he made his way to Tuscaloosa because he was recruited to to the University of Alabama as a collegiate swimmer. He comes to us as he's finishing his Bachelors Degree at UA and preparing for theological course work through Dallas Theological Seminary.
For the past 2 years he's been working with College, Middle School, and High School students at Church of the Highlands and discerning his call to ministry. John brings a heart for Jesus and a passion for investing in the next generation of Jesus followers. He’s eager to jump in—building relationships, equipping small-group leaders, and partnering with parents to help our students follow Jesus with confidence.
Meet & Greet: This Sunday (September 28) after church. Parents and students, we’d love for you to stop by right after the service for a quick meet & greet with John. You’ll have a chance to say hello, hear a bit of his story and vision for Student Ministry, and ask questions. We’ll keep it casual and brief—perfect for a quick connection before lunch.
When: Sunday, September 28, immediately after the service
Where: The Student Room at TCAT
Who: Parents & students (middle and high school)
