Day 14

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” ‭-Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭(NIV)‬‬

It can be very difficult to wake up each day and be the best example of Christ that we can be. To be kind, loving, and patient with others even though you yourself may not be having a great day. It can be tiring. But Galatians 6:9 tells us to not become weary in these things, for at the right time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 

Jesus sees you being kind to others when they seem rude. He sees you loving others when you are being hated. He sees you being patient with those who just don’t seem to listen, and He has a reward for you in Heaven that no one can take away.

Every time you choose kindness, love, and patience with others, you are making your Father in Heaven proud. So keep going, don’t give up. Aim to be the best example of Christ that you can be, because you may be the only Bible some people ever read. 

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly seek Your grace to sustain us in doing good. Grant us the perseverance to not grow weary in well-doing, knowing that in due season, we will reap a harvest of blessings. Strengthen our hearts, Lord, that we may continue to serve others with love and kindness, trusting in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
