Drew Oakley

I will follow you when life feels heavy.

Life pulls us in a million different directions. We’re trying to make the right decision and do the right thing, but we don’t always know what’s right. And then those moments come along where we are most tempted to stop following Jesus. What should we do then?

Discussion Questions:

  1. How does surrender feel to you? What does it make you think of?

  2. In the message, Drew emphasizes the concept of commitment over conviction. How do you personally distinguish between being convicted and being committed in your faith journey?

  3. When discussing reactions to life feeling heavy, Drew outlines three pathways: the way of the world, the way of religion, and the way of Jesus. Reflecting on these pathways, which one do you find yourself leaning towards in challenging times, and why?
