Together: FOR Tuscaloosa

This is a mission, a mission telling the people of Tuscaloosa County that there is a God who is for them, that we are for them.

We are FOR Tuscaloosa.

As Christians, we are called to love and serve our neighbors, following the example of Jesus who came not to be served, but to serve others. FOR Tuscaloosa reflects this heart of service. When we partner with nonprofits, schools, and local government agencies, we are living out our faith in tangible ways by offering support, resources, and hope to our community. This commitment reflects God’s love for all people and His desire for communities to flourish.

We believe that part of our Christian mission is to be a force for good wherever we are placed. Being FOR Tuscaloosa means that we are actively invested in the well-being of the city, not just spiritually but physically and emotionally as well. As we serve the needs of our neighbors, we show the love of Christ in action, providing help and support to those who need it most, and contributing to the overall health of the community.

Our motivation is simple: we want to see Tuscaloosa thrive. By supplying volunteers, funding, and resources, we believe that we can make a meaningful difference.

Core Values:

1. Generosity: We are committed to radical generosity, offering our time, talents, and treasures to help improve the lives of those in Tuscaloosa.

2. Community Transformation: We actively seek to make our community a better place by serving others and partnering with organizations that align with this vision.

3. Unified Action: Together, as a church and community, we believe that collective efforts in generosity and service can create lasting change.

Together FOR Tuscaloosa

In the month of October, we are launching Together FOR Tuscaloosa month, where the entire community is invited to participate. Through acts of volunteerism and generosity, we will support local organizations and schools in their efforts to make Tuscaloosa a better place for everyone. Our goal is to unite the city in a shared mission of love and service, ensuring that the message of hope and action spreads far beyond the walls of our church.
