Discussion Questions:

1. Do you ever tend to be busy in order to not have to face or deal with something that you really need to pay attention to?

2. Do you feel like you are chasing something that you haven’t figured out how to obtain?

3. What does margin look like for you?

• Do you leave enough margin in your life that when unexpected circumstances arise you are able to cope with them?

• Do you leave enough margin in your life to invest in relationships?

• Do you leave enough margin in your life to invest in your relationship with God?

4. Read Psalm 46:10. What does it mean to ‘be still and know…”? Do you agree with Drew’s statement that perhaps an additional line to this scripture should be “and you’re not…”?

5. What specifically do you need direction from God about in your life that will help you create margin?

6. In the message, Drew mentioned that his priority list in his life is that he’s a christian first, then he’s a husband, then he’s a father, then he’s a pastor. Talk about what it might mean for you to have a list of priorities in your life. Would it be easy or hard to adjust to? What’s missing?
